Chart stars from the 1990s are the star attraction at Live at Melbourne Hall this summer

ONE of the biggest bands of the 1990s has been confirmed as a headliners at Melbourne Hall this summer.
Lightning Seeds will be on stage at the South Derbyshire venue as part of the Live at Melbourne Hall series of shows.
The band - fronted by Ian Brodie - will be playing on July 25, with support from Maxïmo Park, Riding The Low and more.
Melbourne Hall is promising a ‘brand new, bigger outdoor site’ at the stately home.
Lightning Seeds had a string of hits including, Life of Riley, Lucky You, Marvellous and Pure.
Broudie also teamed up with comics Frank Skinner and David Baddiel on the football anthem Three Lions.
The previous day, July 24, features DJ Jo Whiley’s 90s Anthems.

This show channels the spirit of the 90s and the pure joy of pop culture, with Jo reviving the decade she helped define, and Toby Spin adding a fresh twist that keeps the night buzzing.
On Sunday, the venue has the UK’s finest country artists.
The Shires return with their Nashville-approved harmonies, Ward Thomas bring heartfelt storytelling through their renowned sisterly blend, Catherine McGrath offers warm acoustic emotion shaped by both Ireland & Tennessee and Minna’s adventurous folk tones complete the bill.

Organisers say that across the weekend, the grounds will be transformed into a picturesque scenery of festival decor, the perfect backdrop for a celebration of live music and DJs spanning over three decades of British talent.
The brand-new site will host fully stocked bars, as well as street food from the event partners with vegetarian and vegan options available as well.
